To protect our community, technology and reputation, we maintain the following Code of Conduct for all Clients. By using the UpSourced platform, you agree not to engage in any prohibited use. Violating these rules is a material breach of our Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use UpSourced for any of the following:

Illegal activity. Any use that violates Australian law, international law or local regulations.

Restricted jurisdictions. Use of the platform in countries where artificial intelligence or similar technologies are restricted or prohibited.

Exploitation or harm. Any attempt to exploit, harm or threaten another person, business or group.

Non-compliant materials. Uploading, storing or transmitting content that breaches these Terms.

Unlawful advertising or spam. Sending or promoting unsolicited junk mail, chain letters, spam, phishing or fraudulent solicitations.

Impersonation. Pretending to be UpSourced, an UpSourced employee, another Client or any other person or entity.

Disruptive conduct. Any behaviour that interferes with another Client’s use of the platform.

Platform abuse. Any activity that could damage, disable, overload or impair the platform, including scraping, excessive automated requests or denial of service attacks.

Malicious code. Introducing viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other harmful software.

Unauthorised access. Attempting to hack, bypass or interfere with any part of the platform, servers or connected systems.

Prohibited content, including but not limited to:

Child sexual exploitation or abuse material

Sexually explicit content

Hateful, harassing, violent or discriminatory content

Abusive, fraudulent or misleading activities

Fraud and cybersecurity risks, including but not limited to:

Promoting scams, spam, phishing or malware

Violating data privacy rights
-
Appropriating confidential or personal information without consent

Presenting AI generated results as human authored without disclosure

Running disinformation campaigns, fake reviews or astroturfing

High risk or prohibited industries and uses, including but not limited to:

Illegal goods or services
-
Gambling or payday lending
-
Cryptomining or cryptocurrency fraud schemes
-
Automated credit, employment or public service eligibility decisions
-
Unauthorised medical, legal, tax or financial advice
-
Law enforcement or military applications
-
Weapons or warfare development
-
Operation of critical infrastructure such as energy, transport or water

Political campaigning or lobbying in breach of election laws
